Less than 10 percent of sexual assaults are ever reported to the police. There are many reasons why a victim may choose not to report such a crime. One major reason is the fear of the unknown. This presentation is designed to help girls understand when they should call 911 - and what exactly is involved in reporting a crime.. what will the police officers say and ask when they arrive, will they have to inform your parents, will they advise you to go to the hospital... what are your rights... A female police officer will speak about what a assault victim can expect once a call is made to 911.
