PERSONAL COMMENTS:
I dream of a day when every woman feels safe in her own skin, on in her own home, and in her own neighborhood. And I believe that this can be accomplished, if we start one person at a time. I have always been involved in women’s issues, volunteering as a coordinator at the McGill University Women’s Union for 3 years. I also put my beliefs into practice by teaching elementary school children peaceful conflict resolution skills through the Peace by P.E.A.C.E. program for 2 years. I’ve devoted several years to empowering young girls to gain control of their lives through various tutoring and guiding programs, in Lester B. Pearson and St. Georges High Schools. I am looking forward to help awaken the inner power and confidence that is latent in all women through the White Tiger program.
